A beautiful old Edwardian Sapphire and Diamond engagement or anniversary ring dating to 1904, hallmarked 18ct gold in Birmingham, this style of ring speaks of restrained elegance and is a lovely choice for either occasion. An enchanting design which is typical of the era with slight Art Nouveau touches in the leafy carvings to each shoulder, all hand crafted. The gemstones are hand cut too and the superb midnight blue Sapphires a cute cushiony shape with large facets which pick up the light very well, the Diamonds between are old mine cuts and although they have some natural carbon inclusions are bright and glittery nonetheless.

In wonderful condition, this is a nicely substantial piece, a ring size 'R' or '8.5', we can adjust a little for fit.
